Happy birthday to my awesome son Rocky

Had a mish mosh dish for lunch today. I was craving kale, so sauteed some up! Kale, tempeh and leftover pasta, yum! Sadly, Kai ate most of my tempeh :( Think I'll have a green smoothie.

Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband of 9 years!

We will be celebrating the special day on Friday instead of today. Thanks mom for taking care of the kids :)

Healthier Easter baskets/unproductive-ness

The over-all feel of today was, blah. The two older kids stayed the night with their grandma, so we were left feeling a little empty in the house. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining :). Eric got up early to get a haircut and I slept in with Kai. I thought that I would have felt relaxed when I got out of bed but all I felt was blah. I managed to put these bad boys together for a very late breakfast.

I wanted to put together some healthier Easter baskets for the kids so while grocery shopping yesterday I picked up some goodies to fill them with. I did say, 'healthier' not 'completely good for you :). I got the ideas for the baskets here and the healthy part here. Why I never did this before is beyond me. Now I have every year after to out-do myself.

Here they are completed. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

Spring Cleaning the van!!!

I have really been trying to get a hold on cleaning and organizing all together , but I had a special project in mind...

These pictures don't even capture a percentage of what the van looked like. Gross. I have really let it get bad. The two older boys ride in the back and are constantly leaving crud in the cup holders. The other side was just as bad.

I just ordered some Shaklee products and was really eager to use them on the van. Aren't they beautiful?

It was getting late so I didn't get to finish the cup-holders. So much better though, don't you think?

I took out the middle cup-holders and replaced it with this fancy waste basket.


I really want to get my hands on a pattern for a car organizer. I practically live in my car! I absolutly love this one.

So instead I made this one :). It will work in the mean time. Oh I love homemade stuff :P

Hello Again!

Yet another attempt at doing a blog!

Hello all! My name is Jessica. Wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, teacher.... I go by many titles. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Eric, going on 9 years. I have 4 children going on 5. In order of appearance, there is Alexzandra, JonEric, Rocky and Kai and coming soon will be our bundle of joy, Max. I have been greatly blessed by God over the years. It has been a very hard road to go down, but with Jesus at my side I came out free of bumps and brusies.

My interests are always changing, I mean ALWAYS, it's exhausting! Some of them include, learning about my Lord and Savior, serving my husband to the best of my abilities, cooking and baking from scratch, home-schooling, organizing, cleaning, homemaking, working out, spending time with my family and loads of other stuff.
